From a young age, Steve Poirier developed a passion for plumbing, spending his childhood mornings alongside his father at job sites. His curiosity about how things worked only grew as he got older. After graduating from the plumbing program at New England Tech at 23, Steve quickly earned his journeyman license by the age of 24. Several years later, he returned to obtain his master plumber license and decided to start his own company, STP Plumbing. Steve specializes in water filtration systems, along with a wide range of plumbing services, including installations, repairs, and diagnostics. Known for his meticulous work, which he jokingly attributes to a mild case of OCD, Steve ensures that every job is completed with precision and care. His values of integrity, honesty, and quality craftsmanship are at the core of both his work and his business. Steve lives in Blackstone with his wife Alexa, three dogs—Toby, Rip, & Rex—and their cat Marco. Outside of work, Steve is passionate about fitness, health, and wellness, and enjoys playing live music and collecting acoustic guitars.

Certified Plumber

Chris Heafey's journey into plumbing began in an unexpected way. After attending the University of Rhode Island for six months, he discovered his passion when he took a job with a plumber who was hiring at the time. What started as a temporary position quickly became a lifelong career. With over 12 years of hands-on experience, Chris has now achieved the title of master plumber, specializing in residential service and remodel projects. Throughout his career, he’s worked across the spectrum—from residential plumbing service to new construction commercial projects. Chris joined STP Plumbing a year ago, reuniting with Steve, a former colleague, and has found a home in the company's clean, personable, and humble work environment. He values strong relationships with customers and thrives on tackling challenging service calls that require a mix of expertise and creativity. Outside of plumbing, Chris is a dedicated family man, enjoying life with his wife and two daughters. He’s also an avid fisherman, coffee connoisseur, and loves a good karaoke jam session—always looking for a way to showcase his "mediocre" voice.

Certified Plumber

Will Doolin's passion for plumbing was ignited during his time at Keefe Tech, where he graduated in 2018. His journey began even earlier through a co-op program in high school, giving him hands-on experience that would shape his career. After graduation, he continued working in the industry and earned his journeyman license in August 2021, followed by his master plumber license in April 2023. For the past 8 years, Will worked at a small company, with a brief stint at Rodenhiser, where he had the chance to cross paths with Chris and Steve. In just two months at STP, Will has already found a home where he feels aligned with the company’s vision and values. He is excited to work with his colleagues, focusing on honesty, integrity, and top-notch craftsmanship to deliver the best results for customers. Raised in Holliston, Massachusetts, and currently living in Framingham, Will enjoys spending his free time practicing martial arts, playing guitar, and hanging out with his girlfriend. He's also a big dog lover, bringing a warm and approachable energy both on and off the job.

Journeyman Plumber

JT Rothera brings nearly 7 years of hands-on plumbing experience to the STP Plumbing team. A graduate of the Keefe Tech night program, JT completed all five years of training while working full-time—demonstrating the dedication and drive that defines his work today. After joining STP in 2025, he quickly became known for his reliability, loyalty, and all-in attitude on every job. Born and raised in Worcester, MA, JT is a family-focused professional with strong local roots. He loves a challenging main drain call and lives for a good round of golf—his ideal day off is spent on the course. With a rock playlist in his ears and five-star service as his standard, JT is proud to be part of a team that gives 100% to every customer.

Client Experience Manager

With over 20 years in the finish plumbing industry, Beth Manocchio brings a wealth of expertise in customer service, sales, and relationship building. Before joining STP Plumbing, she worked at Ferguson as a customer coordinator, where she specialized in showroom displays and assisted homeowners, designers, contractors, and plumbers in selecting the perfect finishes for their projects. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction make her an integral part of the STP team. A Franklin native, Beth is passionate about making customers feel comfortable and heard. She believes in the importance of listening, respecting the customer's needs, and always following up—values that align perfectly with STP’s commitment to excellence. Outside of work, Beth enjoys gardening, home décor, and cooking (but she’ll be the first to admit she’s not a baker!). She loves traveling, especially to warm destinations like Naples, FL, and spending time with her family. Known for her meticulous nature, Beth’s motto is simple: "Do it right."
